This liquid cleaner specializes in coffee machines. Whether portafilter machine, filter coffee machine, fully automatic coffee machine or coffee pad machine, the odorless cleaner is suitable for all types of appliance and effectively removes coffee grease, residues and milk residues - in other words, the everyday signs of use on the inside of the appliance and, in the case of espresso machines, also on the brewing group, which can reduce the enjoyment of coffee in the long term. The inner workings of your machine with its metal parts, valves and seals are not affected in any way. The cleaner does not foam, can be dispensed sparingly and is therefore very economical. You can use it in two ways. Either add a small amount of cleaner diluted 1:20 with water to the water tank of your machine, start the cleaning program and then rinse as usual.
If you want to clean your portafilter machine, we recommend the following procedure: Put 2-3 sprays of cleaner into the blind sieve of the portafilter and clamp it into the brewing bell. Then start the coffee extraction for a short moment and let some water run through the machine. Repeat this process once or twice more, or at least as long as the residual water that collects in the blind filter is still cloudy and milky brown. Only when the residual water is clear can you rinse your machine with water (and without detergent). You should also repeat this process several times. To completely remove unwanted coffee residue, it is also worth taking the brew group apart completely and cleaning it thoroughly both before and after using the cleaner. The individual parts of the brew group, portafilter inserts and portafilter holders can also be treated with the coffee machine cleaner. Pour approx. 5-6 sprays from the bottle into a heat-resistant bowl, place the above-mentioned parts in it and pour boiling water over everything (leaving out the portafilter handles!). After a short soaking time, pour off the hot water and rinse with cold water - all items should then be sparkling clean again. Your espresso machine will thank you for cleaning it with a clear, aromatic coffee and a clean crema. We recommend weekly use.
