Wooden winders for washing lines have almost fallen into oblivion, but the somewhat old-fashioned wooden frame is anything but outdated and is still as practical as it was 100 years ago, when washing lines were often temporarily stretched in the home, attic or yard. When not in use, the line is simply wound onto the spindle, which is quick and easy thanks to the two handles. Secured in this way, the washing line can be stored in a space-saving manner until the next use without becoming tangled or mutating into an inextricable knot. Our line winder is made of solid, varnished beech wood. The line is woven from robust, water-resistant sisal, so it is genuine, durable rope work, and at 20 meters long, it can hold at least as much laundry as a large washing machine.
