At a prosperous time for the old trading city Heidelberg, in 1840, Philipp Klar opened a soap works and store in the city centre at a “Hauptstrasse” address. This address became the cornerstone of a soap tradition which is now in the fifth generation. “At Klar’s”, as the employees fondly refer to the company these days, the best raw materials are processed, with the proven procedures and recipes which have been handed down. The result is soap of indisputable quality, without dyes or preservatives.

From Klar in Heidelberg. Moisturizing shaving soap (pH-value of 10.5) based on coconut oil and olive oil. The soap produces an exceptionally fine, creamy foam which swells the beard hair nicely.
110 g in an aluminum travel tin.

Classic. The lemon-fresh fragrance derives from the best perfume oils from Grasse.

Sports. The shaving soap, named “Sport”, has the same light and leathery scent as Klar’s aftershave of the same name.

Lemongrass. The essential oil of lemongrass unfolds its fresh, invigorating scent when you lather this soap.

Sandalwood. Comes with the tangy scent of sandalwood.
