The Krämerbrücke in Erfurt is a place where trade and craftsmanship have flourished for centuries. Goldhelm Chocolate also has its origins in this inspiring environment, even though production has since moved from the cramped quarters of the historic landmark to the spacious grounds of a converted farmhouse. The creative mind behind Goldhelm is chocolatier Alex Kühn. Kühn produces chocolate specialties whose creation—from bean to bar—is literally in his hands, as all the chocolates are made by hand.
The Grand Cru cocoa beans come from the Peruvian jungle. From these, Kühn crafts chocolate bars in irregular, minimalist shapes: just as the chocolatier spread them out on the marble slab. These are complemented by classic square ganache chocolates with a rich praline filling. All Goldhelm chocolates contain only what serves to deliver the highest possible enjoyment.
