Reduced to the bare minimum
The design of a chessboard is debatable. We wanted a borderless, nearly black and white chessboard reduced to its function as a playing surface. Since such a board could not be found, we now have it manufactured for us in southern Germany. The field size is 6 × 6 cm, so who would like to follow the rule of thumb "tower height equals edge length of the fields" has ideally 6 cm high tower pieces.

Made of MDF with finely grained, inlaid maple veneer (wood origin Europe) and matt lacquered. Made in Germany. 48 × 48 cm, material thickness 1.3 cm. Field size 6 × 6 cm. Weight 2.3 kg.
