This hot water bottle cover is available in two plaid patterns: a slightly more subtle one in green, blue and orange and a cheerful, colorful plaid - and this is the same as the colorful plaid wool blanket from Tweedmill. The pattern is woven in twill weave from dyed yarn. Tweedmill uses New Zealand virgin wool, which is mulesing-free, as this technique is not used in New Zealand. The wool is pleasantly soft to the touch, just right for a hot water bottle cover. Tweedmill has made the cover with a special fastening that resembles pillowcases with a hotel fastener to ensure that it is cozy all around. Like a kind of cap, a flap covers the closure of the hot water bottle.

Since 1971, the North Wales weaving mill Tweedmill, in the county of Flintshire, has been producing home textiles, outdoor blankets and accessories from wool. The range extends from soft tweed made from fine lambswool to traditional tartans and blankets made from New Zealand wool and picnic blankets made from recycled wool. The designs are inspired by the colors of Welsh nature, the forests and the coast, but also surprise with bold tones and unusual color combinations. They are mainly created by the company's own designers, but the family business also encourages young creative minds: the winning designs of the annual Drapers Memorial Textile Prize are realized in a separate collection.
