For handicrafts and for wrapping small gifts - or as a gift for friends of graphics, color and ornamentation - or why not as extraordinary stationery? Carta-Varese papers can be used for a wide variety of purposes. This is not only thanks to their beautiful motifs, but also the grammage of 100 gsm. Incidentally, it is no coincidence that the pad is reminiscent of sample books for decorative papers; it was also created from such a compilation. Their original purpose was to convey the surface texture and color intensity of the decor papers from Italy offered by our supplier Carta Pura. The sample folder, consisting of square sections held by a clip, gave our product manager the idea of having a bundle made from it in a practical portrait format of 24 × 34 cm (i.e. slightly larger than A4): with one decorative side and one chamois-colored side. The uncoated uncoated paper is printed in Italy in several passes, one for each color. Thanks to the head gluing, the individual sheets can be torn off without leaving any residue. The spine made of strong, gray through-dyed cardboard provides stability.

The sheet format, which was almost exclusively used for a long time, almost inevitably turns the thrifty user of wrapping paper into an archivist: he boldly estimates how much of the large sheet in front of him he really needs and simply cuts off the superfluous area. The rest then disappears into a drawer with the rest of its predecessors and waits there patiently for its possible use for small-format gifts. And waits. And waits. And waits. But it's not as if the wrapping paper manufacturers don't also offer smaller formats. They do, but preferably in packaged gift sets with small-format paper, ribbon and possibly a greeting card. In most cases, however, only the paper that we can offer you here as a special edition for more than one purpose is needed.
