In former times, those carpet cleaners were extremely popular but today these simple, but solid mechanical cleaning tools have become virtually obsolete. Although the idea of picking up crumbs or fluff without any need of electrical energy and with low noise remains topical. In Spain, we found a manufacturer who still produces those old carpet sweepers with varnished steel sheet housing and a wooden shaft with pig bristle trimming driven by four wheels.
