The culinary creations that Lucie Krautien, André Göbel and their team have been delighting customers with since 2016 only have one basic ingredient in common with cinema or fairground popcorn: corn. To be more precise, Knalle uses GMO-free French corn, which is popped with hot air, flavored with selected ingredients and then baked again in the oven. The result is incredibly crispy, sometimes sweet, sometimes salty, and full of flavor. This turns popcorn into a culinary snack that stays fresh and crunchy for a long time in the resealable flavor bag - in theory. In practice, however, we know from experience that once opened, bags usually deteriorate quite quickly.
