General Information

The package contains:

10 pieces of Neapolitan Leek (
, Allium cowanii)

A wild-looking ornamental leek with loose, rounded flower umbels on stems up to 40 cm tall. The pretty, star-shaped individual flowers are a pure white. It blooms early, from April to May, and thus accompanies tulips and daffodils. As a graceful cut flower, it lasts a good three weeks and can be combined in many ways. Instead of a vase, the flowers can also be used to garnish a salad bowl: they are edible and have a pungent, aromatic flavor.
Grade 4/+

10 Garden Anemone ‘Sylphide’
(Anemone coronaria)

‘Sylphide’ is a particularly striking variety of the crown or garden anemone, growing up to 40 cm tall. The striking, bright, and intensely magenta-colored flowers with dark centers adorn flower beds and pots and make excellent cut flowers with a long vase life. During the blooming season in April and May, they provide abundant pollen and nectar for (wild) bees, bumblebees, and butterflies.
Grade 7/+

10 Garden Anemone ‘Bride’
(Anemone coronaria)

The Garden Anemone ‘Bride’ features large, radiant white flowers with a delicate, greenish-yellow center. It grows up to 40 cm tall, makes an excellent cut flower, and provides abundant food for numerous insects from April through May.
Grade 7/+

10 Fox’s Grape
(Fritillaria uva-vulpis)

The Fox’s Grape, or bell lily, possesses a subtle beauty with delicate, drooping flowers that shimmer between chestnut brown and dark violet. Inside, they are tinged with golden bronze and feature delicate black lines, while the lower edge glows yellow. This play of colors is complemented by the bluish-green, stiff, upright leaves. The foxglobe is ideal for naturalizing in the garden and produces almost exotic-looking cut flowers that last a long time in a vase.
Grade 7/+

10 grape hyacinths ‘Marleen’
(Muscari armeniacum)

This variety is characterized by its vividly colored, blue-violet flowers on stems about 20 cm long, which shine brightly throughout the garden all of April and May: in pots or bowls, in flower beds or under shrubs—bumblebees will flock to them everywhere, finding plenty of food in the flowers. ‘Marleen’ is also wonderfully suited for small spring bouquets.
Grade 8/+

10 Jonquilla daffodils ‘Beautiful Eyes’
(Narcissus jonquilla)

This enchanting daffodil stands out especially for its multicolored flowers. The creamy-white corolla features a golden-yellow center, with a bright orange crown at its heart. Throughout April, they stand on stems up to 40 cm tall and look just as lovely in the garden as they do in a vase—where their wonderful fragrance really comes into its own.
Grade 12/+

10 Multi-flowered Wild Tulip ‘Danique’
(Tulipa clusiana)

What stands out most about this wild tulip is its unusual play of colors. The pink flowers have a black-blue-marked center with a ring of creamy white and yellow. It’s definitely worth taking a closer look—for example, in small spring bouquets in a vase, at the front of flower beds, in a rock garden, or in pots. The flowers appear in clusters on 25 cm long stems and bloom throughout April and May. This variety naturalizes well in the garden.
Grade 6/+

10 plants of Rose Garlic (
, Allium roseum)

A delicate ornamental garlic that is equally suited for natural gardens and magnificent flowerbeds; it naturalizes very well and produces beautiful, long-lasting cut flowers. The hemispherical inflorescence consists of dozens of bell-shaped, pink individual flowers that appear on 30–40 cm tall stems in May and June.
Grade 5/+

Colorful all year round. With flower bulbs

When you think of flower bulbs, you usually think of the colorful fireworks of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in April and May. However, bulbous plants bring color to the garden not only during this short period, but also from the end of February through to the summer, making them an indispensable part of any mixed border planting.

We offer you a wide selection, from low to tall growth, in many different colors and shapes, for large areas and small niches and sometimes also for cut flowers. A variety of plants that goes beyond what is widely available and ensures that the wish that "perennial pope" Karl Foerster gave as an introduction to his flower bulb book is fulfilled - that garden lovers can finally look through garden fences with curiosity without just the old feeling: "Oh, I have that in my garden too - blooms a little later in my garden, stands here on a warm house wall." All the bulbs we offer come from controlled horticultural propagation and are not taken from wild stocks.

  • For almost all garden locations

The conventional flower trade rarely relies on regional and seasonal cut flowers. Most of these come from the Netherlands, where they are grown in heated greenhouses or imported on a large scale from low-wage countries. In recent years, the Slow Flower movement has emerged as a strong counter-movement advocating for the seasonal cultivation of cut flowers free of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. We think this is a great initiative worth supporting, and we invite you to become your own flower farmer. With this bulb flower package, the vase season begins as early as April—at a time of year when there aren’t yet many flowers in your own garden suitable for cutting. All the varieties included are perennial and will multiply in your garden for many years to come.

80 bulbs of 8 species and varieties; all planting and care instructions are also printed on the packaging.
