Playing is living is learning - and for children this is a matter of course. If our offspring are allowed to act completely independently, if they can try things out freely and creatively, and if they develop cognitively, then we adults have probably done something right.

This 76-piece building block set was created based on the so-called play gifts (ball, cube, roller, etc.) of the pedagogue Friedrich Froebel. The set combines the elementary geometric shapes of sphere, cylinder and cube and their divisions, supplemented by disc, hemisphere, cone, truncated cone, paraboloid and truncated paraboloid. Made of solid, smoothly sanded and lacquered beech wood, the individual building blocks have a warm feel and colorful look that always encourages new touches and designs. The set also comes with a grid foil on which your offspring can literally build and explore the properties of the different geometric shapes. Or they can play freely and discover the laws of gravity and balance just as vividly, train their fine motor skills in a carefree manner and independently promote their cognitive development. By the way: Friedrich Froebel is considered the "father of the kindergarten". In 1837, he founded the world's first kindergarten in Bad Blankenburg, Thuringia, with his "Institute for the Cultivation of Creative Activity and Self-Doing.
