All good things come in threes! With this starter set of hose fittings, you’ll have everything you need to connect your garden hose to the water supply on one end and to one of your watering devices on the other. The faucet connector with a ¾" female thread comes with two hose couplers, ready for use with a ½" garden hose. The hose couplers are designed differently: one comes without a water-stop function, and one comes with it. By the way, you can tell which coupling has the water-stop feature because you can’t see through it. It makes it easier to switch between watering tools (since it saves you a trip to the faucet to turn off the water). This means you can just as easily connect watering tools without a built-in water-stop feature.
