A boat for all bottles. 1 sail, 1 wooden mast, 1 wooden mast base, 1 wooden keel and 1 rubber band - this cheerful and simple kit turns any empty plastic bottle into a sailing boat. Close the bottle, put the keel underneath, attach the mast base, fasten with the rubber bands, erect the mast, hoist the sail and off you go on the water. This amazingly simple design is all about playing and repurposing, about simplicity and materiality. Above all, however, it is about the semantics of form - what shapes do I need to represent a sailing boat? The answer: the triangular sail, the cylindrical mast, the trapezoidal keel. The hull remains variable. Interesting: depending on which bottle is used for the hull, the result is a luxurious yacht or a simple optimist. And everything in between is possible.
