No more dog-ears! This solid brass bookmark offers an exceptionally aesthetic way to mark the current location in a book. The bookmark is inspired by the Penrose tiling pattern that mathematician Sir Roger Penrose discovered, researched and published in the 1970s. These parquetries consist of at least two diamonds of the same length, but with different interior angles, so that the result is not a regular, repetitive pattern, but a structure that seems almost alive. Like looking at the clouds, new shapes are constantly created before the eye from the combinations of the different diamonds. Penrose is made in Italy, the brass precisely cut with laser.
