A pine rub is particularly beneficial after physical exertion or after a long, tiring (working) day. Tense body parts can be rubbed two to three times a day, the rub has a slightly warming effect on the skin. Also dabbed on the forehead, temples and neck, it is very pleasant.

Everyone knows the soothing, clarifying scent that coniferous forests exude on hot summer days, especially if wood was still cut there beforehand. The wood of the Swiss stone pine (Pinus cembra) or Arve, a pine species native to the Alpine region and correspondingly robust, contains particularly strong-smelling essential oils and resins, which is why it exudes a typical tangy-aromatic scent. The pine oil used here comes from trees grown organically in Tyrol, Austria, it is obtained from fresh pine needles through gentle steam distillation.
