Even if they are not classic migratory birds, these figures have had an interesting journey: our supplier works closely with a number of villages in Manchuria, where woodcarving has a long tradition. The Manchurian farmers fill the winter months with carving and painting the figures. They now also produce these songbirds of European latitudes based on the manufacturer's models - so exceptionally lifelike that they can even be used as identification aids. The carved figures are painted with water-based paint in equally precise manual work.

Certain manufacturing steps are carried out by hand. Slight dimensional and color deviations may therefore occur.
