It provides an exact view of the work, especially for those small things, for building models, in the workshop, or any manual precision work. The headband magnifier is produced in Franconia, with a frame made of lacquered steel sheet and an adjustable headband made of stainless steel. The plano-convex glass lenses with a magnification of 2.5 are fastened with a spring loaded screw. The distance from the eyes to the work is about 150 mm. The lenses can be folded up out of the way for normal viewing. They fit over prescription glasses, too.
