General Information
As the popular name suggests: Comfrey has a soothing effect. As well as relaxing and soothing the skin, it can also provide relief for minor injuries such as slight sprains.
Pure Skin Creams from Beuron.
In the Beuroner monastery garden you will find large cultures of lavender, marigold, chamomile and comfrey. The plants are used to produce highly concentrated extracts, which are obtained in the monastery nursery. The recipe of the creams has recently been revised, so they are now made on the basis of almond oil, shea butter and glycerin. Mineral oils are not included; the creams are also free of fragrances or dyes. These skin creams are still relatively fatty, however, the skin absorbs them easily now.
