The cotton used comes from certified organic farming, and the wax for the coating is sourced from certified organic beekeeping operations near the family-run manufacturing business in the Waldviertel region—the pleasant, distinctive scent of beeswax is clearly noticeable. The wax coating also contains only a small amount of tree resin from the Austrian black pine, which ensures adhesion, and sunflower oil, which keeps the cloth supple.

With the beeswax wrap from the roll, you can also cover larger bowls, dishes, and plates in the refrigerator or pantry. Simply cut off a suitable piece, place it in the center of the container, stretch the wrap taut, and press it down for a moment: The warmth of your hands will cause it to mold to the rim and adhere firmly. You can also wrap sausage, cheese, fruit, or your lunch in the beeswax wrap to keep it fresh and reduce single-use packaging.
