This towel is the perfect companion on vacation and in summer, for bathing beauties and picnic fans. Its fresh, summery design of white-blue or orange-red stripes qualifies it for this. The fabric is a tangible indication of this: with a material weight of 320 g/sqm, it is lighter and slightly thinner than towels for the bathroom. This has the advantage that it takes up less space in the beach bag and dries more quickly. It is nevertheless robust and highly absorbent, as the beach towel is woven with different surfaces. The lower side consists of a fine, absorbent terry towel with the typical loop (here in white). The upper, striped side is woven as a smooth piqué and is pleasantly soft against the skin.

The beach and picnic towel is produced at the Herka weaving mill in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria. The company, which is still family-run today, has been producing high-quality terry towels and textiles since 1927 - for private households as well as for hotels and restaurants. Almost all production steps take place at the company headquarters in Kautzen; only the dyeing and finishing is carried out in the company's own dye works in nearby Gmünd.
