Arctic char is an excellent edible fish with an incomparable taste. Its firm flesh has distinctive aromas that are perfectly complemented by Hink with basil. Added to this is the nutty, mild cold-pressed rapeseed oil.

In the clear, fine fish preserves of Wiener Manufaktur Hink is clearly the fish in the center. Hink obtains it from the natural pond farm Radlberg in Lower Austria, located about 70 kilometers west of Vienna. There, the fish are filleted by hand directly after being caught and delivered to Hink in Vienna. The short distance thus ensures optimum freshness. The other steps in the process are also largely carried out by hand: careful canning, filling with the best cold-pressed rapeseed oil from Styria and, last but not least, the refining addition of spices tailored to the particular fish. For the full enjoyment it then actually only needs a fresh bread or salad.
